The poems build on one another, taking the reader through an emotional transformation while recounting personal experiences of heartbreak, love and sex.
After the first chapter’s stories about manipulation, lies and deception, the book transitions into the next chapter with a sense of empowerment and hope to find true love. The third and final chapter is filled with exhilarating tales about sensuality and erotic desires.
Spicy Dreams & Sugary Lies was born out of the idea to alchemize pain into beauty and ultimately find bliss and satisfaction by embracing our sexuality.

Logline
A Yorkshire artist's life is shaken up when her erotic dreams about a beautiful Russian woman lead to a real-life encounter. Their seemingly fated connection, however, threatens to erase who she is.
Years ago, I wrote a poem after dreaming of a woman I had never met. From that single poem grew the screenplay that became ELENA, preserving the story's emotional core long before its plot took shape. Centred on a queer relationship overshadowed by loss and decay, the film explores the fragile boundary between devotion and obsession.
I was curious to examine the ways unresolved grief can distort perception, driving people to make morally questionable choices. Rather than portraying a conventional victim-and-perpetrator dynamic, I wanted to create layered characters whose actions invite empathy as much as unease.
ELENA's world is filled with art, beauty and sensuality, each becoming a way for the characters to reveal themselves. Projection intertwines with the act of creation, turning admiration into fixation, intimacy into a vehicle for control and deception, and delusion into a force powerful enough to reshape identity, inviting the audience to question whether we ever truly see people for who they are.

OLIVIA
I'm a poet, author and screenwriter. My published works include the poetry collections Spicy Dreams & Sugary Lies and Beautiful Alien, while my poems have also appeared in anthologies around the world. My latest project is the feature screenplay ELENA.My writing explores queer relationships, sensuality and psychological transformation, with emotion and atmosphere at the heart of every story. I'm drawn to the blurred boundary between reality and imagination, often weaving dreamlike and surreal elements into my work.Cinema, art, nature and music have shaped me as a writer, alongside the people, places and experiences I've encountered throughout my life. Although I was born and raised in Hungary, I've been fortunate enough to call Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States home over the years.I'm currently working on my third poetry collection, Sandcastles, due for publication in 2026. Alongside writing, I also create fine art photography, with selected works available through Saatchi Art.
